The Zoya Factor
‘The Zoya Factor’ an adaptation of Anuja Chauhan’s bestseller. Releasing on April 5, 2019! Directed by Abhishek Sharma, co-starring Dulquer, Fox Star Hindi, Adlabs Films,” she posted on Twitter.
In the photograph shared by Sonam, she and Dulquer are posing with a copy of the novel with the name of their characters mentioned on it. Dulquer also shared the image with the caption” “Now this one is really special for me! Introducing ‘The Zoya Factor’, a movie based on Anuja Chauhan‘s bestseller. Releasing on April 5, 2019! ‘The Zoya Factor’ tells the tale of a Rajput girl, Zoya Solanki (Sonam), who meets the Indian Cricket Team through her job as an executive in an advertising agency and ends up becoming a lucky charm for the team in the 2010 Cricket World Cup. Zoya was born at the moment when India lifted the 1983 World Cup.
Sharma believes that cricket woven into a “rom-com and touching on superstition and luck, is an amazing book for a screen adaptation”.
“The book has many layers, characters and tracks. Sonam is our Zoya Singh Solanki, an advertising agency executive. She was the first person that came to my mind as she’s as bubbly as Zoya. Dulquer will play Nikhil Khoda, the captain of the Indian Cricket Team in the film. It’s always great to work with Adlabs Films,” Sharma said in a statement.
A lot has been said and written about late Shiv Sena leader Bal Thackeray. And soon a film based on his life will be released featuring the talented Nawazuddin Siddiqui in and as Balasaheb.
Nawazuddin posted the first teaser of the biopic, titled Thackeray, on Twitter. His post read, “It’s an honor and pride to portray the Real King of the Country on Screen. Here comes the TEASER of #Thackeray. Hearty Thanx to Shri @uddhavthackeray Sir, Shri @rautsanjay61, Shri @SrBachchan Sir and Abhijit Panse.”
The one-minute-and-forty-second-long teaser opens dramatically and the first shot we see is that of an infant wailing in what seems to be a poorly structured area. The toddler’s wails are soon drowned as people rush past it to torch the place.
Later, abandoned slippers, bloody and muddy roads take up the screen, and the next scene cuts to a Muslim man, who is seen praying in the same room where the Shiv Sena leader is conducting his meetings. The teaser ends with a larger-than-life Nawazuddin Siddiqui taking up the stage as Bal Thackeray to address a great gathering of people.
The film is written by journalist and Member of Parliament Sanjay Raut. The movie will be shot in Hindi and Marathi and will be dubbed in English.
Thackeray is directed by Abhijit Panse and will release on January 23, 2019.
Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior
The first look of Ajay Devgn starrer historical drama, Taanaji – The Unsung Warrior has been revealed. The film is based on Tanaaji Malusare, a military leader in the army of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, founder of the Maratha Empire, as per bollywoodlife.com. Devgn plays the titular role in the film and Om Raut is the director. The actor took to Twitter to reveal the poster. shown an image.
By the looks of the poster, it is safe to assume that the film will feature a lot of military action. The poster itself shows Devgn in a Maratha warrior’s avatar engaged in combat. Since warfare is pivotal to the story of the film, one can expect generous usage of VFX. Taanaji will release in 2019.

Super 30 is an Indian educational program started in Patna, India under the banner of Ramanujan School of Mathematics. It was founded by Indian mathematician Anand Kumar in the year 2002. The program selects 30 meritorious and talented candidates each year from economically backward sections of society and trains them for the JEE, the entrance examination for Indian Institute of Technology.
Bollywood Director Vikas Bahl will be casting Hrithik Roshan in his upcoming film titled “Super 30“. The film is based on the life and works of Anand Kumar.
Kumar has also appeared on popular Indian television game show Kaun Banega Crorepati in 2017 as a special guest. He won Rs 25 lakh answering seven questions.

Sardar Udham is the story of Indian martyr Udham Singh, who killed Lieutenant Governor of Punjab, Michael O’Dwyer, the man who supported the actions of General Harry Dyer in the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
Even though Tiger Shroff has his kitty full with films like ‘Baaghi 2’ and ‘Student Of The Year 2’, his most ambitious project is undoubtedly the remake of Sylvester Stallone’s iconic action film ‘Rambo’ to be directed by Siddharth Anand. Although not much is known about the film at this stage, reports of some minor details are out recently. According to reports, the shooting for ‘Rambo’ will officially begin in November 2019. It is also being said that the movie will be mainly shot in Europe and the Himalayas and as of now, the preliminary recce has been completed. Meanwhile, Siddharth Anand has yet another project with Tiger, also starring Hrithik Roshan in the lead. This actioner is all set to go on floors in August this year. Panipat is an upcoming 2019 Indian Hindi-language historical period drama film which will be directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar. It features Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. The film will be based on the Third Battle of Panipat that took place in 1761 between Afghan warriors, numbering somewhere between 60,000 to 70,000, against Maratha forces of nearly 70,000 (with 100,000+ non-combatant pilgrims visiting Holy places in north) and concluded in a decisive Afghan victory. This resulted in the halt of Marathan advances to the north of India, and caused major blow to Afgan’s.

The grandson of abdali left Punjab to 21 year old boy who became Sher-E-Punjab Maharaja Ranjit Singh who would then go on to conquer the Afghans, today’s north west frontier province. Several years later, the king of afghanistan would bring the Kohinoor diamond to the Maharaja when he sought refuge from Afghanistan. The film is scheduled to release on 6 December 2019.
Salman Khan fans have every reason to cheer as the superstar will soon be back as the ‘Devil’ in Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Kick 2’. Wednesday was off to an exciting start when the makers released an announcement stating that Salman will be back for the sequel that will release on Christmas 2019. This confirmation comes almost four years after the first installment of the ‘Kick’ franchise, co-starring Jacqueline Fernandez, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Randeep Hooda created waves at the box-office in 2014. While it is still not clear if the original star cast will return for the sequel, reports claim that an international action star might feature in the film. It had been reported that Nadiadwala has been working on the script of the sequel for quite some time now and had sounded Salman about it, which the actor reportedly “loves”. Work on the film is expected to begin shortly. Meanwhile, Salman has his hands full with a great lineup of films that include, ‘Race 3’, ‘Dabangg 3’ and ‘Bharat’.
After the successful first two edition of dance drama ‘ABCD’, well-known choreographer and filmmaker Remo D’Souza is all set to return with the third edition of the franchise. And this time, he is planning to go bigger with the project.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh had shared on his Twitter handle that a big announcement regarding D’Souza’s film will be unveiled on 19 March. Calling it the ‘biggest dance film ever’, Adarsh also revealed that D’Souza will be collaborating with Bhushan Kumar from T-Series on the project.
Since Remo D’Souza is currently occupied with ‘Race 3’ till June, ABCD 3 will go to floors only next year. And before they begin shooting, the entire cast of the film will undergo multiple training sessions and workshops.
The report also claimed that Katrina will once again be seen in a Pakistani character in the movie after ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ whereas Jacqueline will be seen playing a British girl.
If things go as planned, this would be the first time Varun and Katrina will team up for a project. And we just can’t wait to see this fresh pair romancing on the big screen!
On the other hand, Jacqueline has worked previously with Varun in ‘Judwaa 2’ and with Salman in ‘Kick’.
She is also working with Salman in the third installment of the ‘Race’ franchise, produced by Salman Khan Films and Taurani under the banner of Tips Films. The movie also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Saqib Saleem and will hit theatres during Eid in this year.
